We are excited and very thankful to Aspen Rehkemper, a Girl Scout with Troop 2647 in Effingham County, who gifted Camp Wassatoga with this beautify sand volleyball court this summer. Aspen contacted Camp Wassatoga earlier in the year about her idea of installing a sand volleyball court for her Gold Award Project with Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois and was given the green light! With her team of volunteers, Aspen planned, raised funds, and oversaw the construction of the project. After completion, Aspen conducted a volleyball camp where she taught participants on the ins-and-outs of volleyball. Thanks again to Aspen for her commitment to the success and fun of Camp Wassatoga!
