Welcome to Camp Wassatoga Youth Camp, where there is adventure at every turn!
Camp Wassatoga is the idea location for you to lead your youth on an incredible journey filled with exciting activities, deepening friendships, and unforgettable memories. From camping and bon fires, canoeing and archery, and hiking and nature, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Join us as we embark on year-round fun and discovery that you won't want to miss!

What Does Camp Wassatoga Have to Offer?
Whether you have a small group or a large one, we have a lot for your youth group to enjoy at Camp Wassatoga.
With 36-acres available, your group can enjoy our meadow where we have a sand volleyball court, Gaga ball, tether ball, and cornhole, along with a large area for playing other games that your bring with you.
You can also enjoy our camp trails for a nature walk or education hike observing our plant and animal life such as deer, turtles, and wild turkeys. If your group likes to fish, we have 1,000 foot of shoreline on the west end of Lake Sara with catfish, bass, bluegill, and crappie.
For an additional fee, you can rent from 1 to 10 of our canoes to explore the lake and develop watercraft skills. We have lifejackets and paddles available. If your group enjoys archery, we have an archery range with 3 targets, a large backdrop, long bows and arrows provided for your groups enjoyment. Regarding canoeing and archery, your group must provide supervising adults competent in needed skills to ensure the safety of your youth.

To make you stay as enjoyable as possible, we have different facilities that you can rent that include The Lodge, The Cabin Campsite, The Primitive Campsite, or if you have a large activity and need more then you can rent The Entire Camp! Read below to see what comes with each facility.

the lodge
The Lodge is a large ranch style building that features a wheelchair ramp, large group room for activities and sleeping on foam mats, three bathrooms of which one is handicapped accessible with a shower, and a large kitchen with full size sink, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. It also features a long outdoor deck looking towards the lake. Next to the Lodge is a large fire pit area for campfire cooking telling spooky stories after dark. For those spending the night in The Lodge, it is limited to 25 people and we have approximately 25 single mattress pads that you can use for sleeping on the floor. The Lodge is centrally located between between the activity meadow (volleyball, Gaga ball, and tether ball) and the Lake Front area for canoeing and fishing.



CABINS CAMPSITE
This large campsite is the primary camping site of Camp Wassatoga. The site features four cabins that sleep 6 people in each for a total of 24 people. There is also plenty of room for large and small tents for any additional campers. There is a 20 foot square pavilion with picnic tables, lighting, and two cooking fire grills. The site has a central fire circle and fire wood for your use. The campsite also features a handwashing station, a water hydrant, and a latrine nearby.

PRIMITIVE CAMPSITE
Sometimes you need modern conveniences, and other times you need to "rough it". Our Primitive Campsites are ideal for groups who want to experience a back-to-nature camping experience. Throw on your backpack with all your gear and food and hike back two one of our two Primitive Campsite. They feature a fire circle and mowed areas for your tents and dining fly. The sites are in the middle of our forest and are only accessible by foot. There is latrine access a few hundred feet away from these sites. There is no fee for our Primitive Campsites.
